OK working on a web site for my friends vet clinic and re-doing the entire site.

I bought a template that involved FLASH but since I do not have the adobe flash program I cannot edit it so I opte to use the HTML Version of of the template I downloaded.

I am working on customizing it now and I still wanted to incorporate some flash into the main heading. You can see in the template flash version which is at: http://www.templatehelp.com/preset/pr_p … m7Zip385X6 they have paw prints going across the main heading.

I planned on still doing this with firestarter but every time I try to incorporate the flash file into the heading it messes all of the tables up and moves things around. Any idea on how I can accomplish this? The page I am working on which is strictly HTML is at www.chesterfieldvetclinic.com/site

Your flash object is probably larger in size than the container. Look at the html for the height and width and compare that to the flash object height and width. Also take into account any padding.

You will also find that the template is heavy on tables. They are designed in a way that lets text flow on top of images; that's how you get the boy and the dog to have links and text around it, on top of the image. When you try to use the image dimentions as a flash object, it will push everything else out of the way and mess up your page.

My suggestion in this case would be to use a screen capture for the entire header part of the website, just above the links. use thatas your flash image, along with "hot spots" for the text links. The actual text won't be a link, but the hot spot will make like it was a link and you can link the text to the pages you need. The text I refer to is "to main page" and "send e-mail".

You will need to modify the code for the tables under that header, starting with all of the links Home/staff/photos ect...

Not sure about getting the paw print effect with Firestarter. Might have to start with a paw print background, with a swipe/fade in effect of your image, or something like that. It won't be exactly the same as the flash template, but that's what makes the web fun.

Sorry I don't have any specific instructions. It will be a challenging project to sort out all the tables that you will be replacing with one flash effect, but it can be done.

Good Luck

Does Web Form Builder 7.5 allow you to add another page for more questions? or do I just format a longer page?

Thanks,

W.

I think you jumped into the wrong thread for that question, but the simple answer is no, form builder can't pass the values chosen on one page to the next page. You would have to have 2 separate forms with submit buttons, or one longer form.
