If you have an IPhone or IPad and are able to view my problem, I desperately need your help. For some reason, on these mobile devices my websites are appearing way out of line and the backgrounds are tiled. They are not set to tile on VSD, and do not tile on a normal computer broswer. How can I fix this, is there some code or anything? Any help is greatly appreciated. Here are a couple websites for you to take a look at on your IPhone or IPad:

I do see it too. Version 7.0 that is running in beta right now has made significant changes to the HTML markup and I am pretty sure it will help with your problems. If you have not signed up for the beta yet, please head over to http://www.coffeecup.com/sdrive/ and enroll. Drop me an email at scott@coffeecup.com when you do and I will see if I can bump you up the approval list.

Hey Scott,

That sounds encouraging, with the growing number of people using phones and non-computer devices to get on the internet, this is a big problem for me. That is great if 7.0 has indeed fixed this issue. The beta link you gave me takes me to S-Drive....is that correct? I was expecting a beta for 7.0.

To get access to VSD 7.0 you need to also sign-up with S-Drive. I just replied to your e-mail as well.

Hi Everyone
I have a site on the internet that was put up with MS FrontPage. (newenglandsharks.com)

My website host (Aplus) has had trouble maintaining the site and has lost my headers and footers occasionally.

All the links to my other pages are in the footer at the bottom of each page, so when the footer disappears it is impossible to navigate around the 20 plus page site. You are basically stuck on the page you came in on,if you lose the footers. Right now the header is gone but somehow I managed to get the footers back up.

I told them I would put up the site back up this winter with a new website design program. I chose Coffe Cup Visual Web Designer.

Question?? I don't want to use a theme, and I want all the pages to havethe same header and footer.
How do I accompolish that? - Tom

What I've done in the past, and someone else probably has a "proper" way to do this, is I made a page, set up as I wanted for my default of all the pages for that site, saved it under some name.
Than when I added a new page you'll get an option to make the new page like any current page, I picked my personal "theme" page from the list, named the new page what it was suppose to be and went back to work.
Hope this helps

Thanks rodgw.
It looks like you used one of their themes. I am trying to create my own.
Mine won't be as good, but it will be very basic and that's what I want for my site.- tom

Nope, no themes here. Like I said, make a base page and use that as your start for any new pages you might add to the site you're working on.

Thomas try this for size :: design the page with VSD, preview it, and then save as , you can save it as .jpg image.

It will be wise to put it into something like photo shop or similar to reduce quality as much as possible without distortion.

Then you can import it back into VSD as the background image (select top and centre) on each page (only need to do it once if you use duplicate page option suggest by rodgw )

Then you can edit each page infront of the background you have created
