You should be able to use the proper Danish characters if you specify: "charset=iso-8859-1" in the appropriate <meta> tag.

Just to be even more specific: Include the following line between the <head> and </head> tags in your code:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1">

I took that line from one of your other sites by right-clicking and choosing "view source" ;)

Hi, is this the meeting place for us Scandinavians or what? ;) We could start using our own languages here, hehe!

I have been through the same issue as you, Kim, but Per beat me to giving you a reply.

Oh no! I’m thinking IKEA, Allen keys and incomprehensible instructions, already!
Giving the people what they want is fundamentally and disastrously wrong. The people don’t know what they want. They want to be entertained, that’s all. Don’t give the people what they want – give ‘em something better!

...and quite an impressive display of another one of your many talents, Scott! :)
Or, wait.... maybe the kudos should go to Google or Bing translators??

I'm struggling right now with one of the languages I don't speak, sitting in Florence, Italy...

Lucky you! :)

No need to struggle (use hand gestures and a smile); - just enjoy the scenery, atmosphere, food, wine,... I love that part of Italy!

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
