I've been designing sits with CCHTML editor and I love it! I can make sites like the big boys which does wonders for my fragile ego....lol

Anyway, I host with webhostingpad.com and have had problems from the start. Their number one excuse is "server propagation issues".

Whats funny is in my public_html directory my index page will display fine. Then I'll upload our "about us" page and it will be titled "about.html" and I can see it in the same directory. So I type in the web address of my home page (the index page) and then /about.html and even if the HTML is all screwed up it should display what the server references from the about.html document in the same directory as the index page..... but nope.. keep getting the 404. Sure I tried both firefox and IE clearing both cashes etc etc and same 404....


So am I screwing something up or is my hosting company being problematic?

I ask here as it's been 5 hours since i submitted my support ticket.

Domain DNS propagation can take a couple of days but it's for the domain not each page. Until the progation is complete, it's hit or miss if you get the page requested becasue the request may take a different route.
