Does anyone on here do HTML coding for hire? I need to hire a reliable coder for a project that can't be done with any Coffee Cup software, some back-end stuff.

Contact me for details: chad@disneysubmarines.com

Thanks!

Do you know platfrom and language?

I have had reasonably good luck with Vworker.com, although sometimes the language barrier is hard to overcome.

There are lots of tech sites that allow you to place your project requirements and coders will give you their price.

A few people have responded that I have not been specific enough in my request, so here are all the juicy details:

I have a client who is building a site similar to these:

http://www.bookemon.com/create-book
http://www.blurb.com/

Except in addition to the book making functions, users are able to create their own simple web sites that will be stored on a sub-domain of his main web site (kind of like the way myspace of facebook allows you to have your site within their site). The purpose of the site is to allow users to create online tributes to people they care about by means of creating/printing a small book filled with affirming messages from friends/coworkers, OR by creating a small subdomain site that allows users to leave their messages like they would leave comments on a blog.

This project has already been started by another coder, who is no longer assigned to this project. That coder had already created a site with user accounts, login sessions, the functionality to allow users to create their ownsubdomain web sites, an html to PDF script, and there is a payment gateway in there as well. So you would just be adding to his code, rather than starting from scratch.

The HTML to PDF script, as it stands, only allows users to type in plain text which is converted to a PDF. My client would like a coder to create a WYSIWYG on his website for his clients (something like http://www.wysiwygpro.com/). The users will create messages to their friends in the WSYIWYG, very basic just text and a photo maybe a little bit of design; and the WYSIWYG needs to convert the HTML to a PDF in one click. Users can either pay $7.95 to print out the PDF on their own computer OR they can pay slightly more to order a print out by mail (so the PDF will need to be high-res, not 72dpi). So you’ll need a good HTML to PDF script and a multi-upload to get decent photo resolutions for print. We’ll also need some fancy spam and hacker protection for the wizzy. Another option, though, rather than giving users THIS much flexibility in their design, we may also be interested in a script that simply allows individuals to add their photo besides the comments they make and automatically places those comments inside a speech bubble so they don’t look so blog-like and rigid.

The client wants to be able to update the simple parts of the website himself through CMS.

And here is what he has so far:

http://online-tributes.com

And here is an example of what one of the tribute pages look like:

Anyone on here that can help with this?

Did you contact the one I mailed you about, Chad? She knows the ins and outs of WYSIWYGpro and is proficient in php and mysql, which are also needed for this.
