My SOHO site was previously done with Wordpress and hosted at HostGator but I just had it redesigned in html and moved back to my ISP's web space. We didn't change anything major with the content yet, just wanted to get it done in plain html so I can edit and maintain it again with HTML Editor, and to improve the structuring for SEO, get rid of tables, etc.

But I'd learned to tweak it for GTMetrix with the Wordpress plugins before, and gotten it quite good, so now I have to learn the whole process all over again, without Wordpress. Any suggestions for this?
