I'd rather see it as thinking inside the box, the box being of course VSD :-)

I'm not sure if this is what you want to do, but you can use the Add Html into your project. It was a little tricky since I'm not used to adding html into VSD. I used the script from dynamicdrive.com that Tom posted. This is what I did to create the drop down effect. I used only the CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer, Version 7.0 Build 24.

I could have used the CoffeeCup Html Editor to do this, but I wanted to see if it would work in VSD.
