I like the fact that VSD is user friendly and I can really be creative, however, all the websites I designed are flushed left and is quite disturbing... How can I fix this problem. PLEASE HELP!

Hi Hopeless,
http://nic-nacs-plus.com/web/centered.jpg
Located under settings/standard settings for new pages, is where you would use this check box that says centered. Let us know Please if this is the reason.
Would also help to have a link to see exactly the cause.

Hi Bruce,

I apparently have an outdated version? (See Link)

Which version of VSD are you using?

It's a trend...Not working. I am going to upgrade/purchase the latest ver of VSD, hopefully that will take care of the issue. Thanks.

Your link did work for me and I am guessing you have an older version of the software. It should look like the image that Bruce has.

I downloaded the trial and both of my issues were resolved: I am now centered and I and also link directly to a secured site, ie, https:// WOW.

It truly is a smart person that ask.

Thanks, until next time.

Holiday Cherrs,
Bruce, Cliff, I'm Still Hopeless. I purchased the new version of VSD, however, I had to re-install it three times already, ie, each time I went to work on a site. I tried using the shortcut and receive a message that the application has closed and that windows will report later if there is a solution to the problem. I even tried going directly to the source folder opening the executable file and rec'd same error.

Help, still hopeless.

Hi Cole, I was wondering if maybe you have Vista, also sense you had the trial versions are you sure they are completely removed. so I would ininstall and restart, reinstall, then restart again and see how it goes, if it's a Vista thing then maybe this could help.

Vista and the cursed UAC (User Account Control). Cole, you can either disable the annoying UAC:
http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm

or you can right-click on VSD's shortcut (or .exe) and "Run as Administrator" and it should load properly.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
