[quote=paintbrush]Sounds like you're enjoying VSD :D

The menu as on your original site is not difficult to create in VSD. Have a play with the Buttonize feature.

For your background, if you don't want a hard contrast where the pattern starts to repeat (vertically), you could make it extra-long; something like 3000px, but only around 50 px wide (let it repeat horizontally). Keeps the file size small and looks good even if all your pages aren't the same length.

It's tall and narrow now, so it is repeating horizontally. Thanks, I'll look into this all.

Had a busy day with the business today, for a change! Nice!

Thanks Eric!

Now if I can only replicate the harder stuff, like the javascript snippets on the acronyms.

Ok: http://lakewoodcolorado.net/TEST/

I was experimenting with just the blue box on the left, for a menu, and putting text over it. Then per suggestion, I played with making an actual button, on the right there. The question is, can I snap it into a menu box now?

Oh, and I figured out how to use the background gradient, instead of the image gradient I had, so that quirk is fixed now. :)

Um, dumb question but not in the manual: If I turn the grid on, how do I turn it off again?

I think I was the first one in these forums who suggested making all code W3C compliant, and was very pleased when the team picked up the ball and ran with it.

But now I found another thing: http://gtmetrix.com/

Put http://www.ColoradoProcessServers.net in there. I've been working in that one, in the WordPress version.

Now put http://lakewoodcolorado.net/TEST/ in there and run it.

Ahem.... :o

Looks to me that some of the speed issues on the test might be your server settings.

But that removes ALL guides, not just the grid. I want to keep my guides but be able to turn the grid on/off.

Is this something that needs fixin in the next release?

For now, I think I'll just stick to the guides and not mess with the grid, so I don't hose up my guides. Maybe they could do the guides in red and the grid separately in a light gray, so it doesn't blot stuff out like it does now?
