hi i am pretty green about this i have made up a site for my local NCI station using the websire builder in 1&1 and would like to have an area where only members are allowed , one of the problems is that the site is on someone's 1&1 account that they are letting us use (we are a charity with little cash) we have our own domain name, i have the passwords and user name as yet i have been unable to ftp anything do i need other permissions to ftp? simple instructions would be nice as how to get this running thanks in advance.

All you need is the server host name, user name, and password. What message from the server do you get?

server host name = yourdomain.com
