ftp server information - where is it?

Is the ftp server info stored in a configuration file somewhere?

Due to an unrelated issue I had to reinstall the OS on my machine (Vista) and everything that was in the windows folder is now in a "windows.old" folder. I have reinstalled all my CoffeeCup modules from scratch. (Thanks for making that easy!) I REALLY don't want to rebuild the ftp server info for each site I maintain (about 20). It may not be this simple, but is there a configuration file I can simply copy out of the windows.old directory that has all my ftp server configuration info?

It really depends on the program and version you were using. Some applications and versions can be ported, others cannot. Just need to know exactly what you are using. ;)

I'm using:
HTML Editor 2010 Build 323
Visual Site Designer, 6.0, Build 6 (not primary use)

Windows Vista Home Premium, SP2

Thanks for your quick comeback, Scott. You might want to list the application versions that CAN be ported, so this post is useful to others who might follow this thread later.

Look in your registry for this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CoffeeCup Software

You can find your profiles there.

Not sure we are on the same page here, Scott. My registry shows the default value under "profiles" as (value not set). And that is what I would expect since I have just done a fresh install of the HTML editor. Are the server difinitions written to the registry?

I added the first server definition to the new installation and it showed up in the registry under profiles. This confirmed my worst fears, it is all in the registry and I get to recreate all the server configurations again.

And this is where you say,. "Hey Dude, maybe you should think about backing up your registry, eh?" ;)

Thanks for the quick reply, you guys ROCK!
