FTP from files on a network drive
Direct FTP doesn't find my website files that located on a network drive (i.e., not a drive on my computer). Am I doing something wrong, or is this a feature of the software?

Hi Dan,
No, DirectFTP cannot map networked drives at this time, so that's why you can't navigate to them. You'll have to copy the files to your local system first, then upload them from there.

needta fix that one cesar - not many professional web designers will have the files on their own machine - ours arent either...
Dan - you could try either mapping your network drive to a drive on your machine - (I have my network "homes" directory mapped to my H drive)...
or get filezilla

Mapping didn't work. I tried that before I posted. Filezilla is the answer. Thanks!
