Errata list for "My Website is Better...
Is there an errata list for the book that I can add a few of its minor errors to? So far, I'm up through Chapter 2.
There was, at least after the 1st edition was issued. The errors found were then corrected in the 2nd edition. I really don't know if there is such a list now.

Hi Detroit,
After asking a bit I have found that someone at CC is actually working through the book correcting errors and also updating bits and pieces. You can mail your findings to bmarshall 'at' coffeecup.com

I have a friend who almost purchased this book but he read a review on Amazon that said it was of errors. Haven't read the book myself but I was planning too before I heard that. So are you saying the errors have been fixed?

Better books out there - too many errors

There are many technical errors and typos in the book. The author doesn't mention checking your HTML for syntax problems with an HTML checker/validator, a very important thing to do when learning HTML and when creating web sites. If the HTML in the book was checked, the book would have had fewer problems. However, there are some otherwise good tips and information in the book.

Those comments were from v1 of the book, not v2.

Chad - I've read the book and it's great! There 'may' be some errors in v2, but if there are I didn't notice any that appeared critical. But then again, I read it quite awhile ago, when I knew next to 0 about site design

Hey that's good to know! I will just make sure that I get version 2 then. I will buy direct from CC to make sure I get the latest version. I think my friend was looking at getting a used one from Amazon that could very definitely have been v1.
