I am embedding a link in some text but can't figure out how to make the software stop changing my text format to blue underlined text. I don't want that. I want the text to remain unchanged. When I highlight the text and check the "use Link" check box under the "links" menu it automatically changes the text. I'm sure it is something simple I am not seeing but I need someone to point it out for me please.

Ok, and you might want to give a link to the site page also for those that have the VSD experience. I'm not one of them unfortunately, but I'm sure someone will have an answer for you in short time

Go to Settings > Standard Settings for New Pages. I usually make my link colors the same as my text color. Somewhere in these forums, someone (maybe Scott?) posted some code snippets for removing the underlines and some other text effects.... off to have a look.........

Funny, Jo Ann - I feel like I'm stalking you! 
Between the Easter Eggs, the S-Drive mystery, and new releases of HTML Ed., VSD and SCC - I can't stop lurking in here! I don't know when it finally dawned on me - I could actually answer a few questions while I'm waiting for all the new goodies to arrive. Besides, this is one of the nicest forums on the "interwebs"

And I have to agree fully, I've never enjoyed a forum for any company or game I've played (including my own forums from my game guilds lol) as much as this one. I've always been a bit of a forum troll, but never to the extent that I am here
