Season's greetings, all.
I find it frustrating trying to do an e-commerce site in VSD. I have the cart creator and designer pro versions but the lone theme that catches my eye in SCDP is loaded with buttons of a pastel blue color that just don’t match the more muted colors in my logo. I don’t suppose there’s an easy way to prescribe some global colors at the design stage is there?
Also In SCDP, I cannot find a way to edit the names of my menu items (“products” rather than categories, as an example). I fund an older forum post that described clicking on a pencil icon to change those names but I simply cannot locate it.
One last thing…
When I export the theme from SCDP for SCCP it creates a .sct file but SCCP wants a .scp, or ‘package’ file. Am I missing a step?
Thanks,

ecommerce making my head spin.
ok, solved one of these issues... i see that SCCP allows you to change the names of the pages as they show up in the menu.
still unable to figure out how to export an SCDP theme that SCCP can then use.

when your in SCCP, select themes tool
Go to my themes (your themes)and any you have saved yourself will be in there HOPEFULLY.
when theme selection is open in SCCP having highlighted the theme, look carefully at the open window, you will see a pencil image (RATHER SMALL) click on this and SCDP will open to allow you to edit theme while still in SCCP, edit, then save theme
Now go through selecting theme process again, but this time when highlighted, look for a very small refresh button, next to pencil, this will update your highlighted them in SCCP
