Whoa almost there....I re-entered the html codes for the body and head and everything seems to be working fine except for the "internet usage" page (under Library tab) which I still get an error for. The code in the html I pasted in the box looks right as well as the source from the internet. Any ideas what this one last problem? BTW when I first viewed the site (after publishing) a couple of the pages still weren't working and then they were, then weren't but now they are (except the one mentioned above). Is this normal for it to get confused like that? sort of like me? :)

That is because you are linking to the wrong page. The URL are linking to http://www.midlandparknj.org/internet-usage.html but the correct URL is http://www.midlandparknj.org/internet.html

How can that be when I named the page "Internet Usage" and gave it the http://www.midlandparknj.org/internet-usage.html" address in my menu builder and the same name on the page ID in VSD?

I can only tell you what is on S-Drive and what is there not what you are linking to. ;)

You also have this one http://www.midlandparknj.org/internet-policy.html

I might also suggest you adjust your images to the size on the page instead of loading them full size, your pages take a million years to load :P

The "internet policy" was from an old menu. So do you think cleaning out the s-drive might help?
And no-one else who I've gotten feedback from has said anything about my pages loading slowly so that's news to me....

The easiest way to clear out a VSD project is by going to the File Menu > Save As and save your website to a new folder. This will clear out all the unwanted stuff. Just make sure to place your menu files back into the new folder before you publish.

Jo Ann is right. Some of the images are extremely large and take a very long time to load.
Just as an example, the header strip (park-header.gif) at the top of your home page is 4,712 px wide and 679 px high, with a file size of 1.49 MB. Re-sizing that image to the width of the page (1,100 px) would reduce the file size by 90-95%.
The 'others' who have given you feedback may have very fast internet connections, or they may be afflicted by some misplaced politeness, which is generally not the case with us here! ;)

re the header, we all need a little guidance from time to time

here's some assistance, your image attached reduced to fit in photoshop

replace it and you will see the difference

Hmmm....
You may have gone a bit overboard on compressing that header image, Viv! ;)
The quality is seriously compromised and the width is less than the page width.
Compare it to the attached, straight size reduction without much further compression...
