Cross Browser Compatibility Issues -...

I created the above website and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some of the browser compatibility issues I am having. The site displays fine in Internet Explorer, but I have issues in Firefox and Safari. I have not checked any other browsers. What are some possible solutions? What is the best course of action? Is it a simple matter of coding that I can do in dreamweaver or can I use the VSD html tool (I have both)?

Thanks in advance!

I just looked at it in IE8,Chrome, and Fire fox. It's the same in all three. It might be a local issue with your screen resolution. Looks fine.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Just downloaded FF on my PC. Works fine.

Thanks for the insight.

Hi, Checked your site also in Opera. I see the same in all browsers.

You mentioned editing the site in DW. Just be aware that if you edit the site outside VSD, you will lose whatever you edited if you open it in VSD again.
Ha en riktig god dag!

Yup, thanks Inger! Is there any way to combat these visual changes due to user resolution?

This is and always will be a problem. PC monitor technology changes fast and some people change to the new as soon as it comes out and others are happy with what they have until it dies.

I'm using VSD and I am having an issue in Firefox 3.6.16 with file separators. I've downloaded the FF add-on slashy and FF is still having the protocol problem. The file is in 2007 MS Word. Everything works fine in IE.

Thanks for any input

Firefox just had another update today (updated a few days ago so I'm going to assume they found something that needed a quick fix lol). Maybe that issue was fixed. Try seeing if you can update to the most recent version 3.6.17 and see if that fixes your issue or not. It may not, just saying there's another update and one never knows what fixes might be in there for us with CC software :)

I thought Firefox 4.0 was issued some weeks ago and an update to that was issued recently....?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
