It would be TREMENDOUS help to have the default.css file with comments embedded in it to help figure out what to change for simple changes like the size and color of nav bar buttons and such without climbing the learning curve of css.
In programming, I have always found it most useful read and study commented code which is close to what I want to accomplish.
Does anyone have such a commented version? Help!

What css files are you talking about? The ones coming with a theme or the ones appearing in the head of html files created in VSD? Or something else?

Specifically the default.css that came with the Ezra Pond theme.
Thanks.
Thanks.
What program is that theme for?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

For the HTML editor.
I don't have that one.

As far as I can see, there are comments to some of the declarations. But you want comments for every one of them, is that so?

When I write programming code, I include explanatory comments since someone else may be required to make changes later. That is also what I require of my programmers, who often grumble, until they have to make a change, especially in code another coder wrote! Of course, that isn't necessary to explain syntax, just comments about "change nav bar color here", "change size of nav bar button by . . .", stuff like that. There is lots of documentation on css out there, but I like to learn by example, in this case, he default css I'm working with.
Those comments easy for someone who is proficient, perhaps the original author. Studying a specific example I'm using is the way I become proficient myself.

Still interested in commented css, but I made the immediate changes I needed.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
