What are the broken links coming from? And why does it show fine in Chrome and totally botched in Explorer with those broken links?

I am not sure, but the site is quite a mess in IE. Lots of broke links, missing text and stuff. Without seeing the source files I can't say right now. I would suggest opening a support ticket and sending us all source files and we can look at things a bit closer.

Okay, this is how it looks in Explorer.

If you look at my screen shot, that is exactly how it looks to me as well.

Gallery seems to be running in FF 3.5.4, you just need captions typed or remove the caption on the photo that has it showing in the Photo Gallery software and that will remove it from all of them then. None of the pictures are clickable, so if they are supposed to open larger pictures, then you don't have it setup correctly yet.
Your main menu on the left is too narrow and doesn't show the full names of each item on it.
You have your Links Sitemap either split into 2 url links, or they are supposed to be separate links and show as if they are one. The "Sitemap" loads the xml code page rather than having the xml inside an html page as it should be.
Sell Your Home link on your left menu has no location set
contact page is empty (might actually be empty yet, but just saying nothing shows up to me on it)
This was all tested in FF 3.5.4
Very little at all works in IE8 I'm afraid, I would suggest you really look over your code and links.

I can't read the code usefully, which is why I bought CC software. I also have no idea how to look at any links other than URL links I have placed on the site.
Is the sitemap being used by anyone other than Google?

no clue, but if you don't want it accessed the way it is you should take it off the bottom navigation menu as it's pretty useless to anyone looking at it lol.
what program you using for your site building?

I'm using VSD 6.0.
You should have access to all of those elements on your site without too much difficulty using VSD. Access the links and make sure they are correctly routed to the right pages etc.
Check the links for your "Links Sitemap" at the bottom and make sure you get them set correctly. Insert that xml code for the sitemap into an HTML format if you want it to be useable (I didn't look at it to see what it is supposed to do/be so if it's not supposed to be useable then take that link off the site.
Make sure you are using whatever is needed for IE to work correctly since there's a lot of work arounds needed to get IE to work right in quite a few versions lol. Quite nasty that browser... no one should use it
I am not sure why the Photo Gallery would have broken your IE site setup, so I'm going to guess that maybe you didn't insert the code correctly in some way and I'll have to let someone else handle that part of this because I dont' use that program other than just to help someone figure it out how it works or where something is. I haven't done anything with it for checking photo gallery stuff though, but I'm sure someone else has that can help

I fixed it.
Here's what I tried and noticed:
1. I moved the photo gallery off the page in VSD and IE suddenly showed everything (except the missing gallery, of course). I moved it back and the text disappeared again. (Although Chrome was showing everything correctly.)
2. I then rebuilt the photo gallery from scratch in the new version (5.94) of CCPG and replaced the gallery on the page in VSD. Once I uploaded that, everything worked in both browsers.
