Hi Elena,

We need some more information:
Which Windows version are you running?
If Vista, have you turned the UAC off?
Have you installed the latest VSD?
Did you install it to its default location?
Does the problem occur every time?
Have you had similar problems with other programs?

When you transfer a site built in VSD to another computer, the file structure (like where your graphics etc are located relatively to the page files) have to be the same as on the original computer. If it is not the same, there may be problems opening the site on the new computer. Also, if you made changes in Dreamweaver, there could be difficulties.

The UAC (User Access Control) is a security built in to prevent unexperienced users from messing things up. If you know your ways about the pc and Vista, you can turn it off, because else you will have to confirm that you know what you are doing for nearly everything. It becomes quite irritating, and also installing software is easier with the UAC turned off. You do it in the Control panel, User accounts, in there you see something like turn on or off the UAC.

I think it may be best if you get in touch directly with the support desk about your issue.

I am getting the same error message when I try to save, preview, or upload my site from VSD. Could you let me know how this was fixed because I'm getting nowhere with my Coffee Cup help requests. Dan

Hi Dan,

I'm not sure if CC support send out mail notifications when they have replied to some ticket. Have you checked in your 'support room' under Get support at the top of this page? Usually they are quite quick at answering.

Anyway, I'll alert someone to your problem.

Hello Elena,

Exactly what format where the images in? Are they jpg, bmp, jpeg, gif, png?

I would also like to see if you can send us your .vnu file along with the "_websites" folder in zip format so we may have a closer look. If you would like to create a support ticket with our office that would be great as it will ensure we have a running tech on the issue.

Thank you,
