can't access pages

On Friday, I was able to access a page that I had protected using the user name and password uploaded from Website Access Manager. Today (Sunday) I can't get into any of the pages that I had previously protected. I've been using this protection for years with no problem and all of a sudden the pages seem to be inaccessible. I am still able to upload work using FrontPage as I always have and the public parts of the website are accessible.

Is it possible that my web host has done something that would interfere with the protection afforded by Website Access Manager? Any other ideas?

My suggestion is to use the built in WAM tool to check your server comparability, that might tell you if your provider changed things.

Your host may have monkeyed around with the scripts that write .htaccess to your site.

I did the check of the server compatibility and it says everything's ok. I'm running version 2.0 of Website Access Manager. Would that matter?

It is now up to 4.0.214 so you are really out of date, I would upgrade (it's free) first and then try to send your data to your server again.

I just upgraded from Password Wizard to Website Access Manager. It's different, but seems easier. I got all my users so that they have access to the members only folder, but after I type in the password, the page cannot be found.

I left your administrator's name and password in there so you can help. :-)

Thank you!
