Never mind, still having conflicts with wordpress. I'll have to use a whole different subdomain for now

Yep check your Plugins, it's not wordpress, it's plugins and themes that do it

brand new install no plugins, although I use pretty permalinks which make a httacces file that I have to figure out how to combine them as it just takes my original and labels it as httaccesold

I kinda answered this in the other thread just now lol, but try backing up that htaccess file and then remove it and see if that breaks your PPL because mine still works after removing the original htaccess file and redoing WAM. Not sure what the deal is but it doesn't look like PPL "needs" the htaccess file to work which is strange since it's probably writing redirect code or should have been, but I didn't really see any from it in there to be honest.
