No, it does not. It is an old version, and PHP8 didn't exist back then. You need the latest build, the 2.20.5577.
You may wonder that a version with what looks like a higher number is older than an apparently lower number. But '2.5' and '2.20' in this case are not decimal numbers. It would have been clearer if they had called the one from 2017 '2.05'.
