Web Form and DMARC bounce back

Occasionally I am told that someone filled out my contact form and it bounced back. I was told that it is due to DMARC, that mostly AOL or Yahoo think its a spoof email. It lacks authentication it appears. The problem is that it thinks the sender is not really the sender, but its being sent from my website's server, so it is denied being sent.

At first I thought this was due to it coming into an AOL account, but even a gmail account does the same thing. In fact, with AOL the sender will get a bounced notice, while in gmail they do not even know that it did not go through. The Web Form does say it went through, but that just means it went through to the server, not to my email

Has anyone else faced this and figured out a workaround. This is how many new clients contact me, so it is frustrating that this is happening. Thank you.

I have forms working with aol email addresses. Sounds like your not seeing it with every aol email though.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

A client with a Yahoo address tried to contact me using the webform contact thing and told me it bounced back to him. I tried to use it with an AOL address and it bounced back to that address too. The DMARC rules changed in early 2014. What I understand after communicating with AOL is that they think that these emails are spoofs. They bounce back emails that do not actually come from the sender. Something about the way it gets transferred using the Web Form, makes it act like a 3rd party.

I wish I understood more about the architecture of the Web Form Builder, but was not able to get much clarity from Tech Support. I think its a 2-step process. The client sends the info, it gets collected in the Coffee Cup server, and then sends it to my address. These 2-steps make the DMARC think it is spoof.

So I am trying to figure out a way to have a potiential client send me their info, without it bouncing back. If they use AOL or Yahoo, I want it to go through. Also after clicking send, the note at the bottom says it went through, but it only went through to the server, not to my inbox. Only if they get a bounced back notice do they know it did not go through.
Thank you.

This is the info for people to fill out and under setting I entered my email address under the "Email Notices" tab. I think at one point I published it so that it was on my website server, but I think when I updated it this week, it is now on CC;s server.. I am not sure that makes a difference, as either way, the DMARC thinks its a spoof and not being sent from the actual sender.

Why don't you place it on the host the site is on?
