Dave, are you hosting with GoDaddy? I may have a fix. I do not have to edit any files from WFB and my mail works perfect. Let me know.

Are you on a windows server Dave? That would explain why it sounds confusing lol. If so then that would make sense what your trying to do if your trying to set up the ASP settings of the email setup. That's the only time I can think of that you need to set up mail server settings at all for WFB. If not then you might be trying to add in steps you're not required to do at all.

If you are then yep I would fully agree with your request!

Yep - it's a Windows server. It supports ASP and PHP. Email function of CC Form Builder does not work without modifying the script.

Again, I see no harm in making these settings available in the settings dialog box - but just my observation.
