I really want to use this website self-hosted php solution that I found (http://dbtechnosystems.com) but it only considers one separator. It works great, but it only gives you one character choice as a separator and no text field quote delimiters. You can change that to another character or symbol, but that's it. I could make that separator quotes, but CCWFB doesn't use quotes all the time. Most other .csv importers (excel, openoffice, googledocs) let you have the comma as a separator and quotes as a text delimiter - they load CC's .csv just fine. Now if I could just change the character that CCWFB uses as a separator from the comma to another rarely used character, like one of the “ampersand characters” or “character entities”, I'd be sailing.
I'm gonna see if I can find it.. but if you know in the CC code where the comma is specified as the separator, it'd sure be nice 'cause then I could change that and my viewer/editor would work with CC.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
