Eric Yep v1.1.3xxxx

The magic phone number works a treat numbers, spaces, good stuff.

But that submit text GRRRR.

Simple method might be to create a plain button in PhotoShop & let the text do it's thing.

There was/is a similar problem with SCCP.

So you cleared the text entered for the submit button but it still shows on the form?

Eric
I have been having this issue for some time....now I use this workaround in hopes that in a future update CC developers fix it. You can find the thread by searching "submit query" with other users having the same issue.

Did a small edit to my form buttons and sure enough the infamous "Submit Query" was back obscuring my buttons looked at preview to see it, then looked at properties and submit query was not there....SAVED the form, re-looked at properties and sure enough submit query was there. deleted "submit query" re-saved form and all is OK.

I am posting this to help others with this issue if it occurs when they create buttons for their forms and I anticipate at some point the CC programmers will discover where "submit query" resides and delete it,( I know intermittent issues are difficult to find). In the meantime the above seems to solve the issue until it re-occurrs by another edit.

not sure what's in the update, but another one was added today so make sure to get that one even if you just got it yesterday. Haven't gotten through all the forums yet so hopefully something will tell us what that extra update today is for :)

interesting, I had a new build a couple days ago and one again today... maybe you're just on a slow updater lol. No idea on why it's there for me but it is.

Just downloaded the latest up-date today. Made a new form with a custom submit button, all was well.
Added it to my VSD site and previewed, still OK. Went back to FB and made some changes to the settings (email addresses) .... and there it was – Submit Query right across my button.
I finally got rid of it by deleting my button, clicking re-set, typing in some text for the default button then starting over; deleting the default button, adding mine, removing the text.

Hope it stays – fingers crossed :D

Paintbrush seems that is the ONLY fix. You need to type some text, delete it & save. Otherwise if you make a change & just save & upload the dreaded text appears by MAGIC. Since the upload takes so long (like around 150 files worth) it sure is a pain in the.....

One would think a simple seach of the base code pages would locate it pronto & they could remove it.

I've had a look in the obvious pages without any luck.....there are just too many pages for a dummy like me find which one it's in.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
