Only Publish to S-Drive?

I just upgraded to the new Form Builder full and when I try to publish it tells me I can only publish to S-Drive or purchase the full version. What am I missing here?

Thanks,

David B.

You don't publish your form from the form builder if your going to use it on your own server. You click on file and then Export then Manual Server Setup.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Rolly,

It all sounds so easy - "You click on file and then Export then Manual Server Setup", but it doesn't work for me! I reckon it's something to do with where I'm uploading files to the server, but I can't figure out what's going wrong.

Here's my problem (if you can tolerate nearly 10 minutes worth of explanation) -

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Phil

Your server does not have the minimum version of PHP installed to use the software on your server. You need to have PHP 5.2 or higher, but your server has a very early version of 4.0. You will need to contact your hosting provider and have them upgrade you to PHP5.

PHP 5 has been out for 6+ years, so it should be used pretty much everywhere by now.

You also need to pull all the files out of the first testform folder and have them in the root of your site.:)

WOW!

Super quick support on that one - thanks Scott!

You've no idea what this solution could mean to me - fantastic, I'm so pleased that I can move on now.

If only I was a little closer I'd buy you a beer.

Great stuff,

Phil

Thanks too, Rolly!

I did try moving a few files into the root folder, but with little success - presumably because of the php version I was using? I can experiment a bit more now.

It's not the first time I've said this, but my experience of dealing with American companies is far more satisfying and successful than dealing with British ones - I reckon we've lost the plot here with regards to support, and even basic customer service. To be fair, I've also had good experiences with Australian companies too.

I even host my web sites in the USA because of your attitude to customer service. "We aim to please" is something you should put in your "strapline".

Yep - you've put me on a bit of a high. This sort of problem would have taken me weeks to sort out here. I'd struggled for a couple of days - if only I'd asked sooner.

Fantastic - keep up the good work. Who knows, I might even be able to contribute at some time!
