When I fill out the forms on my wqebsite pages and press the submit button, the form section of the screen disappears but nothing happens. I don't get the submitted message and email is not sent to either the sender or receiver.

Looks like you don't have the proper php on the server.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I copied the scripts onto the pages as instructed in the export to manual server setup and included the corresponding php files and folders to the root directory of the website. Am I missing something else?
Hiya POL,
I believe Eric means "the server itself" doesn't have the proper PHP software installed on it to run your forms.

OK, if this helps, the website is being hosted on godaddy. Are there specific php files that need to be added to my server?
From the chart on the Form Builder's website page under the Baby's Got Backend section:
http://www.coffeecup.com/osx/web-form-builder/
"Use your own PHP server but have your hosting provider upgrade it to PHP 5.1, alright?"

I went back into the form in form builder, and it seems to want to publish the form to the S drive. I want the forms to run on my server, but I can't change the location in the form publishing tab. Is this somehow disabling what the php file on my server is trying to do?
Thanks Jo Ann,
I'll try that and see if that works.

When you want to publish to your own server instead of S-Drive you need to use the Export option in the File menu (they REALLY need to put a button on the thing instead of making it so confusing for people not using S-Drive). This only works for the paid version so if you're using the Lite version you'll need to get the full version to Export. Good luck on it

I am using the paid version due to the need for more than one form on the website. I exported to the manual server setup and pasted the code into the pages and included the php files and folders as instructed. I contacted GoDaddy and the web hosting is being switched from windows to linux in an effort to support the php requirements from that end. We'll see what happens after the change takes place.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
