Is it possible to provide the the user with several payment options i.e. PayPal AND Google check out etc.? or are we only able to use one per form?

You sure can. Just enable whatever payment providers you want to use and they will appear on the payment confirmation page.

Here in Europe, PayPal is not as well known as other systems that allow direct bank payments such as Ogone. Is there a way I can add this third party/change one of the present payment sources to allow this option as well?

Skip that last comment! Just realised PayPal takes "Maestro" cards with resolves the whole "debit card problem" in Europe... in a manner of speaking.
