When I design a form in the web form editor the arrangement of fields changes when it is displayed in the html form.
Preview works fine - it shows correctly, but when I copy the code into my web page the resulting form is different in that in some lines where I have 4 fields in a line, the web form only has 2 on a line. The other 2 are on the next line.
Ill attach the fb file and the html page

Can you share a link? It could be other css styling causing the issue.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I am curious to know about your result.
Are you having the same problem Jeffeyer? If you post a link we might be able to help.

I am having that problem. Under "Item Information-" I have 4 elements on a row, but on my site it puts "Qty" & "Item Name" on one row and pushes "Size" & "Stain/Paint" to the next row.
I thought I could change this in the css, but I didn't see anything about div widths. In the html file I clicked to change the css properties (made "Qty" 60px) and it changed every text field to that size - but.... it didn't make any changes when I saved & re-uploaded to my site.
This isn't what I do for a living. I have, however, learned & built my own site. I thought I could tweak this form after buying the full version, but I wasn't expecting so many files and the css doesn't look like my site css; it looks like a bunch of rules that I don't know how to override. I love everything about this form, I just wish I could change the size of individual element boxes w/o going to college.
I may not be smart enough to tweak this.
Link to see the form on my site: development.thirteenpine.com/order.php
(the form is not finished. I just stopped there until I could figure out how to get those 4 things back on one row)
I've also attached a jpg of the Form Builder version so you can see the difference.
Thanks for any help!

Knowing is half the battle
Under 'Properties' for each item you have on a line, set the 'Width' to 25% and all 4 items will fit on one line. Do this in the WFB. Any CSS changes you make outside the program will be overwritten if you ever change the form and re-publish.

Yeah, that didn't help. I had those 4 elements at 98% before (20%, 33%, 20%, 25%). Making them all 25% just made it slightly worse. This is something I need to do in the css. I think Eric may know the solution. Waiting to see....
Knowing is half the battle
I guess I thought I'd be able to get to and change the css IN the program - before I exported the files. But either way, I'm sure there's a way - I just don't know what it is.

I'm not seeing the issue your describing. Did you try ctrl + f5?

Also be sure to play with the margin and padding of each element as well as the forms default width (found on the form options tab) to remove some of the extra spacing or widen the form a bit.
