I am sure this must of been raised before but I cannot find it in search so....
When user presses "SUBMIT", if they have not completed a required field or have input invalid data (text in a digit field), the form sits there blinking.........
Is there a way to make it scroll back to the field containing the error, or to flash up a message stating that there is an incorrectly completed field on the form, please go back and fix it? I know it currently puts an error under the incorrect field but if that is off the page, most users seem to sit and wait for something to happen rather than scroll back and check data.
My current solution to this is a message that states that if you have not left this page you have messed up, please go back and check. Even with this, I still get form completion failures due to unfinished forms.
For me, this has become more important now that we have the responsive forms as they can get pretty long when stacked vertical?
Thanks,
Steve
Go to field with error on submit
Mine seems focus on the field and goes to the error in question. Can we have a link?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
