Hi,

I would like to build a form with radio buttons to make donations at set donation levels, with an Other button. Select Other, user enters arbitrary amount.

Submit should send specific amount to PayPal.

I don't see in the form builder how to declare such behavior. Is it possible?

I would think setting the radio buttons amounts then hide them if the user inputs an amount into a number element.

It's not so much associating money with a radio button.
I don't see how to establish the PayPal amount to send to PayPal on Submit.
What settings would control this?

Why not keep it simple and create 2 different elements, one with the radio buttons to choose their donation and one with an box to input the amount. Don't make either of them required and put text between them or above them to tell them to choose which way they want to go. Can it not do that?

Could do pretty much any way you want. Very cool program!

After doing deeper reading, I got most of that working. Funny thing: I set the "Other amount" Number element as "Price Input" (for Payments), and then set Show Element as Using Rule Display, Radio button control, is, Other Amount (radio button), which is what I would have thought your form was doing.
But when I save, then click to another element, then click back in the Other Amount element, its back to Show Always! Which it does when I preview the form.
So definitely, YES! if you have further instructions, I'd love to hear 'em! Including what happens on Submit: did you have to do extra work, or does that come for free by using PayPal (unlikely )

Before you watch it let me say this. I tried recording this 3 times and the sound goes 'wonky' towards the end. Not sure why but I think you'll get most of the message out of the video.

I had that problem also with the 'Show Always' and although I'm not sure I think it was changing after previewing the form. Best I can suggest is to go over the form, all elements, then save the form before you preview. Then check the settings again before you publish or export.

Quick note, if you preview the form it will simply show the form submitted. It will not redirect to paypal unless it is published to the web.
