Brand new to designing forms. I am using the Blue Pad Responsive form. When I have multiple elements on a line their width does not match the width of a single element on a line. In other words, when I have two 50% width elements on a line and the line below it has one 100% width element, the right side of the form looks weird because the fillable areas are not even. I have tried playing with the padding, but that is not making any difference.
Second problem. The fill in fields are not centered on the form like they should be. The grayish background is bigger on the right side of the form than it is on the left side of the form. How do I fix this? The H1 Title/Heading is centered on the form, but all the other elements are not.

Try readjusting the padding of the 50% line elements. This should address both problems.

I have adjusted the padding. Default padding for the right is 3 and for the left it is 4. I have changed both of these to 0 on the second element and I the first element I only changed the right padding (because changing the left padding causes the left side of the elements to no longer be aligned). However, that did not fix the right side as it is still off. (The good news is that I was able to change the padding so that the other line I had with a 50%, 25% and 25% now looks good.)
The second issue (only the H1 being correctly centered) did not change when I changed the padding.

Try increasing the left padding to get elements on the same line centered. Then adjust the single element line to look correct. Another option is to use a spacer.

Here is another bit of information. Any element that I am working on, except for the H1, the label and text box are not centered within the element.
I will try to change the padding so it looks visually centered.

The heading elements have a position selection box on the properties tab.

Yes, so does the Plain Text, but even when I have centered selected for both of them and they have the same padding, the H1 is centered but the Plain Text is not centered.
The plain text should center when you select the center position. Try starting with a new form and see if it works.

Tried a new form, still doesn't work, the plain text does not center. Neither do any of the other elements except for the title/heading.
I would make sure you have the latest version and reinstall.
