I am attempting to add a Drop-Down Element to my form but when I try to edit the Labels for the Options, I am unable to do so.

I can highlight Option 1, for instance, but when I try to type over it nothing happens. Unfortunately, I don't see any other place to edit the Labels.

I do see there is a Predefined Options Selector and that will come in handy eventually but this is a specialized form.

I must be missing something. Can someone help me out?

Just double-click on Option1 and your cursor will appear inside of that box. This is where you change that text.

How easy is that! :)

It's easy, but how would one know to double click unless they read this thread?

That is a pretty standard windows function Stephen.

It's fine the way it is. It's just that it is not as intuitive as you think. Perhaps, adding a word or sentence or two in the Help file to "Step 6: Adding a Drop-Down Menu" to clear things up would be helpful.

I'd like to mention that this was really getting me ticked off until I found this thread! It was not self evident to me that all you needed to do was double click. And I've been using windows for about 20 years.

I would think a single click would be better.:)

This was an issue with me as well. Took way too long to figure out one had to double click it.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
