[email] in "email notices" set-up...

I'm trying to add the [email] tag into the to and or from field of the auto response message options. After hitting OK I get the message: One or more email addresses that you have entered may not be properly formatted.
Unless I leave the field blank that message does not vanish. However, if I leave the field blank I can't get anything send to me or the form submitter.

I'm not formatting anything, I just use the tag that is suggested in the drop down box.

What now?

In all the fields in the Settings > Email Notices dialog, only email addresses can be entered in there. Anything else will be flagged as invalid.

Scott, thanks.
But here my dilemma. Why do I get a drop down menu with "[email]" as the ONLY option filled in when I can't use it?
I can't enter anything else in that particular field.
Puzzled!

Meik,
On the autorespond "from" needs to be an email address not your business name.

yet another error message is popping up.
Could this be related to the email issue?

I changed the business name to an email address but this message still pops up.
Other than that I have not changed anything.

That is something completely different now Melk. I would make sure you are using build 3261 as n error like you are receiving was corrected in that update.

Thanks for the quick response.
I downloaded the new version and the form went through.
Will continue to improve it from there. Let's see what else comes up LOL
