One more quick question. Is It possible to format the date to D, d M y?

This is my .js so far.

I have put this line in but it makes no difference.
var datestring = $.datepicker.formatDate('D, d M y', date);

Found some references in the jquery.ui.datepicker.js file so have updated my .js file to includes this line:

altFormat: 'D, d M y',

Still makes no difference.
