Is there no way to change the background color and borders of text fields and text areas?
Do I have to switch to the embedded form rather than uploading to SDrive to do this?

 If it's coming soonish, I'll wait

Paintbrush you can attack the form code and place it in another folder then adjust the embedding script to point to it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

So it sounds like it would be easier just to take it off the SDrive and go the embedded route.
I'll have to decide if I can live with these bright white boxes or not :P

One other thing – Is there any way to change the font that gets typed into the text fields/areas on the live form? Bigger and not Italic would be good.
(I did check my default font in the browsers I use, no Italics anywhere)

Can this be changed if I use an embedded form? (...and will I be able to find where that option is? :D)

If there is no setting in the software for it, you can always customize the HTML/CSS. For this, use the File > Export > Automated Form Processing. This gives you all the HTML and CSS for manual customization.

Scott, if I do that, is it no longer possible to publish to SDrive?

Would a font choice option for fields/areas be a possibility? Or at least make the default text non-Italic?

The Automated Form Processing is using S-Drive. The only difference is you get all the HTML/CSS to put on your server but the PHP part is handled by S-Drive.
