Eric I see you are online and I am clueless on how to use FTP. I see the visual that paintbrush put up and know where to get it but what do I do with it? Any help here would be appreciated as always.

TIA

Eric I think I've got it! It is just filling in the blanks with the correct info then it does everything for you.
Let me see if it works and if not I'll come back here for some help.

Eric Hi, I believe I got it to work but stopped the upload to deal with one last situation... The form builder. Everything in this site seems to work nicely in a live preview, paypal buttons, click to enlarge etc. except for the form builder.

I have completely uninstalled and got rid of any file I could find related to my form. I then re-installed form builder and rebuilt the form. I then save and go through the process of uploading to VSD but the form always ends up being the previous version, it doesn't seem to change. I've also clear the cache but same thing. Then to go a bit farther... When I do a live preview and click submit I get this error message "Cannot find "file:///C:/Users/Joseph1/AppData/Local/Temp/vsd_tmpdir/local.html. Make sure the path or Internet Address is correct". It never sends an email to the email I designated in the configure form settings. A couple of notes...1. I send it to my email address 2. the redirect is set up to go back to my website 3. I have never set up a server profile. Must I do this to have it work correctly? 4. I have never tried it actually live on an uploaded website. Will everything change when I do this?

I am still baffled why I can't get a new version of the form to appear in VSD. Eric as always your help or anyone elses is always welcomed and appreciated.

TIA

Viv Hi and thanks for the suggestion,

I have completely uninstalled form builder and re-installed twice, deleted the page the form was put on and made a new page deleted any files associated with the form and sarted from scratch but I always end up with the old page in VSD.

Every time I started it as a new page.

Somehow the old from seems to be saved in VSD and seems to override the new one.

Anyone any thoughts or ideas on this?

TIA

Make a test page and name it test. Now click on the add flash icon and browse to the xml file the form builder generates. Now preview in VSD. It should work.:) If it does right click on the html box that the flash tool added to your page and select copy. Now got o the actual page you want your form on and right click and select paste.:)

Eric Hi,

I just tried all of that and I still end up with the original form page instead of an updated version. I have started from scratch by eliminating any files associated with my form, uninstall and re-install form builder, (I'm using the smaller version), deleted the page i was using and created a new page with a different name but I still end up with the old version of the form.

This thing is ready to launch except for the alteration of the form. I've run out of ideas to try.

Anyone with any thoughts ideas on this please chime in.

TIA

I think I might of just discovered what the problem is. I have two different versions of form builder,
Lite 1.1 and classic 8.3. I originally used 1.1 but when I did the rebuild of form and re-install I loaded 8.3. I am going try using 1.1 and see what happens. I will post after I try this. Fingers crossed and jumping in:)

You can't use the add flash tool with Web Form Builder Lite because it's not flash.;)
