complicated custom option list dilemma.

I've created a form and I have not been able to create a custom option list for use in the dropdown list element.
The file is a list of families/residents affiliated with a residence for the disabled. My work around for the time being has been to create a scroll-able table listing all of the families (there are 817 records) which users can search and then manually key in the the data when they find the family. Here's a link to the form:

http://mfabenefit.org/donors/index.html and here is a screenshot of the form [img]http://mfabenefit.org/donors/mfabenefit.org_donors_index.html.png[img]

What I was attempting to do was have each of my names be select-able in a drop down list, but when I created the custom form to make the list the delimiter was a "tab" which is not allowed. so when I changed the delimiter to a comma the list still would not appear in the list options. Tabs are ideal because it gives uniform spacing to the space between the individual family data items in each line.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi James, what I would do is open one of the existing lists and save it under a new name.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
