Some Captcha characters in what are apparently photos are very unclear (see attached ) Is there any alternative other than colours? (White, Clean, Red etc)

Thanks

Looks like 201 and 179. Either way, you always have the option of hitting the refresh button. CAPTCHA is not generated by the WFB. That is a separate utility that is imported from the web. If you don't like it, don't use it. There are several other things you can do with regular expressions and/or other CAPTCH programs. But for me, I like Re-Captcha.

Thanks "Gunsmoke" - could you explain what you mean by "regular expressions"? Do you mean coding tweaks?

Not at all. There is an option in WFB under 'Magical' that is called 'Reg. Expressions'.
Add this to your form. Go to 'Properties'
Change the label to read something like 'Please enter any 5 digit number'.
Come down to the RegEx box and choose 'Zip Code (USA)'

There ya go. Not as good as a 'real' captcha, but it keeps the spammers at bay.

There are many RegEx's you can use. Just google for them.

Well...Thanks Scot! I was in kind of a hurry this morning and just popped back in because I forgot to mention that you had to make it 'required' to be effective. But that's a pretty good link. Got it saved now!
