I posted on this before and thought I figured it out..but now I'm confused again.

I use this form builder all the time with no problems until lately. Guess I'll go check for an update..however, I can't get the form to publish.

This particular one was edited to add a contact list. It was working fine before then..but now it doesn't even show up. I changed nothing in the settings.

The "To" field has a domain email..(although I am wanting to use a drop down contact list)
The BCC field is me...different domain but I've used dozens of times before.
The form has a name..

What am I messing up on?

The form is supposed to show up at this address..but noooooooo..

Help please!

Don't know about the form yet, I have a bad internet connection at the moment.

But, the .htaccess problem is usually a server issue. Some servers do not allow uploading an htaccess file. Some require special permission. You may check with your hosting provider. I know some users rename the .htaccess to something else, upload it, then rename it to .htaccess again. Seems to work for those pesky hosts.

I just rebuilt the form... same settings as I did before.. I have the current software.. 2.3...

Still having an issue with the htaccess...which I never had before. weird.

The form shows up...why not before I have no idea.

There was 2 errors on htaccess..but I didn't try to reupload it.

I tested the page and it works now... good grief.

Now...just so I know..

The form needs a name....check.
The "TO" seems to need an email address the same as the domain. check
The time zone field might have been something I keep forgetting about but I designated one this time. Check.
I did not use a captcha on the new one. check

I have no idea what I did different in the settings...except the time zone.

Must just be one of those things.

Wasn't sure if it was my connection or not, but before when the form wasn't working I was getting all kinds of missing graphics, the menu was missing. Seemed like something, besides the form was messing up.

All looks good now! Good job fixing it. Check with your host about the .htaccess problem.

did you fix your issues here?

I have uploaded several forms in the past without issues, but I am now stuck where the contact-us.php file displays a blank page..

on looking the embed code that's supplied also says /contact-us/contact-us.html but this file isn't created during manual export so isn't uploaded to the server?

in this file:
/contact-us/storage/fb_error.log.php I see this:

Sat, 29 Jun 2013 09:53:16 +0000: Couldn't open or read: contact-us.html

but that's because the file isn't there?

what am I now doing wrong?

please advise.

Hi Carl,
Did you try manually deleting all the old form files first then upload the new ones?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

thankyou, yes I did, it was actually a brand new install, but tried removing , editing, re-creating files with no joy..

Its looking like there also needs to be a .html file created that holds the form structure, this form isn't being generated locally

i.e. part of the embed code reads...

id="fb_iframe" src="contact-us/contact-us.html

but contact-us.html isn't generated so thus wont show?

I have looked at previous installs of the forms and all seem to have a xxxxx/xxxxx.html file?

I am a little confused at the moment..

many thanks

Can you share a link to your form?
Maybe try reinstalling the form build app.
