I have a form that is pre-populated with the users email from our records.

I want the user to be able to choose to use an alternative email (perhaps one they check more often than the 'official' one we have on record). I have set up the form so they can enter an alternative email.

But I need to send the auto response to the alternative email (if one has been entered) and I also need to send a copy to the 'official' email address as a security measure.

I can not see a way to add a second email to the auto-response 'to' field, (or alternatively to dynamically change the email (e.g. from [usersEmail] to [usersAltEmail] )

How can I send the response to two addresses?

As far as the standard email notice I think you place a , between entries for multiple emails.
Now for dynamic email you could use some JQuery to switch out the email in drop down with the one you have setup as an alternate. I'm not sure if the validation will trip up on the switch but you could easily test it.

I don't seem to be able to add another email address to the auto-response in WBF settings.

it only allows the selection of one variable from the drop down. So I have [usersEmail] and [otherEmail] but can only select one with no option to type in the box.

Do you mean I can add them with a , in the code somewhere?

Sorry I was looking at the Notification message.

Sorry that's not something that can be done within the program. Eric or someone with more scripting abilities might be able to help you alter the scripts manually to do this, but it's not a part of the program itself.

I found an old thread asking for something similar too, but Scott did not see a reason. My reason is security!
