When I am not building websites, my passion is photography. I have many, many (if I may say so myself) gorgeous images that would be perfect for banners, screensavers, etc. I uploaded about 10 of them to my website last night but, my problem is, how much to I charge for them??? The Usage Rights (License) is " Unlimited Online Use (no printing)." I know there are other 'penny stock' agencies out there, but I just can't go that route with my personal work.

What would you folks be willing to pay for such images? Please take a look at some of them and send me your feedback/suggestions, PLEASE!!

Thank you SO much!!

I have removed the link. You can still ask the question without adding in a link to your site, otherwise this post will be considered spam. I vouch for the fact that your work seems to be of a good quality for those wanting to reply to this question.
Many thanks for your cooperation.

That's a shame, I was interested in looking at the work. I use istockphoto and can do whatever I want with the photo short of selling it. That, I like.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Janys,

My apologies! I did not know...won't happen again!

Tom, you can do whatever you want with these, except print them. The prints are part of my livelihood and are available for sale on the website, along with framing options.

Still, the question remains...

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thank you so much Eric.

Can you suggest a selling price range for them as downloadable images with Unlimited Online Use (no printing)??? I'm absolutely stumped!

This may give you some ideas for setting up a shop to sell.

I looked around online and prices are all over the place. If your not a starving artist aim high at first to get a feel of what the consumers are willing to pay. Maybe you can put a few images up that are make offer just to get your feet wet.:)

Thanks for the plug Eric. Everyone please note that my Available Light Photography Gallery images are for sale as prints only, and the prices there reflect that. Electronic/web versions would have to be licensed through negotiation with the photographer, myself.

Have you looked at other stock photo sites? Ones that I've used before (Istock, Dreamstime) sell credits. So I could spend $20, $50...whatever, then when I want a photo, I choose which version (for example:hi-res/3 credits, web-only/1 credit) and the credits are deducted from my balance. The web photos were around a dollar each. There are also some sites that offer free photos as long as credit is given to the photographer. And then there's Getty Images, which is geared more towards agencies/design studios, since prices are around $20 - $40 for a small pic. I would assume there's more amateur photography on the other sites, maybe Getty is all pro?

By the way, nice photos ;)

Getty is not all pro...anyone using the flickr community can end up with pics in Getty and amongst those that are chosen there are lots of amateurs.
