Thats what I was thinking of doing for my next site, charging my hourly fee on my Photoshoping things. I didn't really have a need for my first website because the guy just wanted it simple, only thing i had to Photoshop was cutting out the motors on the side of the screen.
Cant figure something out? Just Google it!
Or ask for help :p

Does anybody charge for custom graphics? I usually end up creating custom headers in Photoshop for my clients but I don't charge them for it.

I do:

and I charge them even more if they want the custom graphic to be in Flash (using Firestarter) because that requires creating multiple graphics and then merging them all together. Here are a few I have done:

And here is an example of a flash header that I did for my own site:

If the header takes up more than 25% of the page, I make the background transparent otherwise it doesn't mesh with the rest if the site very well. Here is another flash animation I did for my Finding Nemo submarines at Disneyland web site (you may have to scroll down just a few inches):

By the way this entire site was done with Coffee Cup products sans the embedded video because CC web video player don't give users the option to customize the pixel dimensions of the embedded player :(
