I am having a problem uploading to my host site. I get a connention with Coffee Cup Visual Site Designer when I click on the UPLOAD Button and it looks like it uploaded everything including .jpgs (I picked everything on the upload prompt). However, when I go to my site on the internet http://backyard-paradise-rus.com there are red X instead of photos and the page buttons in my web page are missing. I also did an upload from Filezilla and got the same results. I went back to the web pages on Coffee Cup Visual Designer and linked each photo to the proper web page, and it still does the same thing. Any ides?

When I called Hostmonster.com they had me look for a Coffee Cup folder called "files". This was to upload the files folder through Filezilla. I did not find such a file. Anyone know about that?

When you save the coffeecup visual site designer web pages, it saves as a .vnu file. Visual site designer only creates the .html and files folders when you use the "upload" button. It converts everything you need and uploads it to the server.
My best guess is that something with hostmonster.com is stopping VSD from being able to create the "files" folder on your server, or....maybe an error in the path is sending this "files" folder to the wrong place on your server. these are only guesses, and I am sorry that I do not have a solution for you.
Maybe someone else here has hosted with Hostmonster and knows how to get it working?

I think there is a couple things you could do at this point and that would be, sense the possibilties of your server are in question as Cliff stated then using filezilla to upload the "files" folder to your server would be the way to go, but make sure the files folder is located in your website folder in My Documents, see the short example provided maybe that can help some. Thanks Cliff

Yeah, I see the code shows the links to images such as:
"files/IMG_4.jpg"
Trying to load that directly gives the 404 error "not found."
I have Hostmonster and haven't had any issues with them as far as uploading goes. :| I can't think, at the moment, as to why it would upload the html files fine and not the images. I would, however, do as Bruce suggested and manually upload the files with an FTP application.

hello there,

Try to resize it so it's down to 18kb, which is very low. Or else save it as jpg, gif, and png. I am using Hostmonster and haven't got any issues with them as far as uploading goes.
