I can think of one website that would have a list of....roughly 30 to 40 different apps that were used in the making of the site over a period of time? Good golly. I do understand the reasoning behind listing the software, but sometimes it simply would not be practical.

Guess maybe I'm taking this too literally, but I'm a little stressed right now and my thinking cap is on a bit crooked.

It's okay. I'm a little sensitive about this subject today myself, actually. Apparently on another board (which will go un-named) when people ask if anyone knows of software that can do such-and-so, I'm too quick to chime in if I know of a CC app that might serve. I was informed by a mod that there are complaints I'm sounding like a spammer.

Am I pissed? Yup. It's probably coming out here--at least it feels to me like it is.

Hey Spinny, it's all good. In todays economy we all, especially those of us who are freelancers/self-employed, have to ring our own bell once in a while. We can't wait for BO to ring it for us

If someone is doing it to spam they will post once or twice and then be 'gone with the wind'. I think in no time one can tell if one is a genuine member of this community or not.

Further, in all the forums where I take part I have never had to think if it is moraly, ethically or justifyable to add my website link to my signature or not. Most forums even have a special section where you can add your link. It is common place and everyone does or at least it seems so to me

I was looking at this from an absolute beginners point of view. I just think many other newbies would,benefit from seeing what can be achieved using the CC design and build tools, HTML Editor and VSD. Not too interested in the other programmes of CC, allhough that would be interesting, too. But to be able to look at what CC ccustomers have achieved using these two design progs would be inspirational, motivational and prevent idiots like me from not giving up the good fight!!

Which Marina? Sounds like that's not too far from me. Spent much of my youth swimming and canoeing on the North Shore of Lake Huron. Sailing lake Ontario would fall into the "stress relieving" catagory for sure! You put the first smile on my face since I lost my full time job. Thanks

Skip, I understand that newbies would benefit from viewing sites that were created with CC software and in no way would I disagree on this with you.

However this site is not only populated by newbies. I have seen those with more experience also come here.

I think a newbie as well as an experienced person can benefit from viewing a website that has been created with CC software next to other software. To the newbie it shows what they can do on the long run and to the experienced person it shows that they can combine CC software with any other software they may already be using.

An option would be next to the link to place the words : built with CC html editor, CC form builder, pictures edited with Adobe Photoshop, Special effects created with flash and shop created with CC cart. This way people would know how the website they are viewing has been created ... is this an idea?

Then again after a long 17hrs day I could be wrong about everything and anyting as my brain is starting to crash :
