Uhhh thanks for the link to the computer chairs! LOL! Some of those chairs are just...wrong!

I actually used one of these before (but without the back) and it was really comfortable.

I'd love to have some of the others, for flight simulation time, but NOT the recliner with built in stick and collective.

Yeah, that chair does look comfy. It was the only one on that site that I'd really consider:) But I kinda wanted one w/arm rests.
No biggie though. I'll shop around online:)

Status update:

Received the 27" monitor & headset. Monitor is SUPER SWEET but the headset SUCKS! It's like it was made for a child's head. I wore it for about 5 minutes and my ears & head were throbbing. I adjusted it as much as I could but it didn't make a diff. The ear cover parts are just too small & the whole thing is too tight. The sound quality was good though!

So I wanted to return the headset for a refund. The first step in the process is to call and get a return authorization number. I did that - and they told me to keep the headset or donate it to some charity! LOL! They are going to issue a full refund. So now I have a free headset that I can't use.

So don't buy it unless you have a super small head:)

Hmm... Maybe I should buy a set for my kids They ALWAYS bug me with the speakers going, and headsets (from WallyWorld) don't fit their heads yet. Something to ponder over the next few days.

As someone who has an unusually large head I've taken to wearing headsets with the headband around the back of my head, might work for you.... not that I am implying you have an unusually large head or anything like that...really.... no.... I'm not saying that.....why are you hitting me?

I'm using my new pc right now! It's super sweet! It's like...greeeeeeeased lightening!

I still haven't loaded all the software yet - Photoshop, VSD, etc.

Even the speakers w/the subwoofer thing sounds pretty darn good!

Yeah the headset I ordered might be ok for kids, but it's just kinda clunky & a bit heavy. How old are your kids?

I'm not too wild about the mouse. It's an HP laser mouse & it's not huge, but the shape is a bit odd. I have small hands so I'm thinking about buying one of those micro mouse thingies. OR OR OR I REALLY think those vertical mice are cool! My hand sometimes gets tired of being in the normal mouse position & I actually turn my hand on its side to rest - the position it would be in w/a vertical mouse.

Has anyone bought/used a vertical mouse & if so, how do you like it?
