2013 is ok, but it took some of the features out such as no more Groove which sucks cuz SirAge and I used it quite a bit, and it messed up my sync with my IPad for my calendar as it's not compatible with the cloud system now. Minor things really for the most part, and it's definitely not pretty. It's like they decided to go back in time before cool looking UI's were born and just make it all flat and ugly lol. Works fine though so far. :)

365 is 2013 with the cloud added, and I agree very flat looking.

I haven't grown out of 07 and 10 versions yet, so I'll stick with them. And OO for Mac.

Hey guy's, i'm a 2010 student user, I just purchased my license half a year ago and they launched 365, I think office 2010 has everything perfectly set up, if the changes are just cosmetic, i will NOT be upgrading.

Seems like you got in before they clamped sown on the student packages and just made 365 available as a deep discount. It cost me 75.00 for everything for 4 years so it should be OK. I would say that the differences between 365 2013 and 2010 are minimal.

You only paid $75 for everything? Dang I really got it in the rear then, cause I think even with my student discount they were $100 or something like that. I don't even use excel , or one note, publisher, or outlook. I think in the future I may be using outlook.. I don't know yet.

I use word, excel, visio, powerpoint, all the time for school, the only thing I still am not convinced on is the subscription thing. Time will tell
