So today I start my laptop and Flash wants to update. No problem, do your thing. Now Flash in IE is displaying in the window everywhere except where it should. It's randomness to the left and top over other content. FF and Chrome are fine. Anybody else having this problem?

Which OS is this?

Win7 64. Other users have reported this too. The latest update broke something. Hopefully Adobe will fix this soon. It's good that I have FF and Chrome installed.

I have the same OS on my desktop, and recently I upgraded to IE9. Just now the Flash also did an update, but I can't see anything funny going on. But I've never used much flash on sites anyway. Could you give me the URL to a site that is behaving like you're describing?

Flash banners that should be within their containers are all top left. You might have to use scroll wheel to see.

Sorry, should have answered earlier. But it was Norway's 'July 4th' today and I got a bit distracted...
I had no problem with those pages at all. Which IE version are you using? I was viewing with IE9.

Found the solution to this problem on the net.
click on the gear icon
click on “internet options
click on advanced
check "use software rendering instead of GPU rendering"
restart IE9
Don't know what changed but that fixed it. Thanks for trying, Inger.

Discovered the root of the problem. I updated the GPU driver and all is well, even with acceleration enabled.

Well, that is understandable, because my view of those flash banners were ok even though I hadn't changed the settings in 'Internet options'. But my PC is fairly new anyway, so probably no need for GPU driver updates - yet.

Usually the driver automatically but for some reason, this time it didn't. I'm just glad I thought about updating the driver. Initially, I was focused on IE9 and Flash Player because they updated recently. Whoever said computers make our lives easier is a sadist.
